Old-fashioned billiards bar...says they offer free pool on Wednesdays...the Tuesday tournaments are not available currently...on the wall is Adam Duritz from Counting Crows...and the other evening they played "Mr. Jones" and me...old times...30 years from 1990s...60 years from 1960s...old-fashioned pool bar in North Beach CA. He said try 3 games for $5...I think I would sometime...AMI jukebox too...time flies...existential pool...like Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke..hahah

Great little local dive bar! Howie is a great bartender and was fun to chat with. Being a dive bar bartender myself it was nice to find a place like this while on vacation. I'll definitely make a point to visit again the next time I'm in San Francisco. Oh, and I hope Bullwinkle makes it, but it didn't look promising

Loved this place. People were friendly and Howie the bartender was always on top of it. Not easy when there are 50 people you're serving drinks to. Will go back again.. Thanks Howie!

This place is fun! We have now been here 2 times over the course of a few years which we are in town. The first time we kind of stumbled in after drinking in Chinatown and watched part of a Broncos game. This time however, we walked in on a Sunday morning ish and were greeted by an adorable dog come running across the bar to lick us hello. Turns out that is Boss. Boss runs the show there and wants all of the attention, which I of course gave him. He is the owners dog and loves people. Such a great way to be greeted and enjoy a cold drink. Howie was our bartender and he actually remembered us from the last time we were in. Not sure if we are those strange memorable people, but he isn't the first one to tell us this. Cash bar, so make sure you have some on you. Cool place to relax and enjoy a drink.
